Large scale production of energy and fuels is a challenge. Despite a wide selection of renewables, acquiring enough energy from these sources is difficult. Integration, optimization and feasibility studies are of utmost importance to assess new power plants and novel systems of production. There are many challenges in translating theory to practice – sometimes safety can be difficult to achieve.
